Vacation - Cabin - Rental.com

Vacation - Cabin - Rental.com

Gatlinburg Cabins Rentals

Vacation - Cabin - Rental.com Now Offers Log Cabin Enthusiasts and Vacationers a One Stop Place for All Things Related to Cabins

The travel portal Vacation - Cabin - Rental.com offers all things related to log cabins. Visitors will find information on log cabin vacations, cabin decor, cabin plans, popular vacation sites, vacation activities and more.

Palm Bay, FL Just in time for summer vacation planning, web-trepreneurs Alan and Jean LeStourgeon announce one of their newest web ventures, the travel portal www.Vacation - Cabin - Rental.com. Their log cabin and outdoor lifestyle website is quickly becoming the one stop place on the web for all things related to log cabins, vacationing, and exploring the United States' most popular outdoor vacation destinations.

The LeStourgeon's want their web site to be used as a resource for the outdoor enthusiast and traveler to find great cabin deals and information on the top wilderness and National Park destinations in the country. The LeStourgeon's utilize their extensive travel experience to write candidly about many of the most popular outdoor vacation areas in the United States. Additionally, the site can be used for people who have enjoyed vacationing in log cabins so much they've decided to build their own.

Alan shared, "My wife and I try to stay in a cabin wherever we go on vacation. Cabins are much more comfortable, more private and usually cost about the same as a moderately priced hotel room. We love staying in log cabins, that's part of the reason we started www.Vacation-Cabin-Rental.com. We wanted to share our experiences with others."

Log cabins have been a favorite of vacationers for many years. The reasoning behind this is that log cabins offer many amenities and the comforts of home like full kitchens, game rooms, and large living rooms that most hotel rooms don't offer. Travelers to wilderness and outdoor vacation destinations such as National Park locations prefer lodges or cabin rentals by a wide margin over hotel rooms. The outdoor traveler wants to enjoy beautiful natural scenery and a cabin provides the perfect setting to do just that. Besides the extra room that cabins offer, the cost is often much less for families or friends vacationing together to share a luxurious cabin instead of renting two or even three hotel rooms per night.

The web site features information on vacationing in our National Parks, log cabins, log cabin decor, hiking, and the areas of the United States where log cabin vacationing is most popular. Some of those locations include Rocky Mountain National Park, Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, the Blue Ridge Mountains in north Georgia, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and many other popular destinations.

Arts & entertainment

TheSunRunner, the Hi Desert's Art and Entertainment Magazine features artwork from Karin Winkler on their latest cover.

The artist, Karin Winkler, who works under her brush name "KarMar" is known for her unique style in which she captures the mysterious aspects of the environment she lives in, Joshua Tree, California.
Painting outstanding motives of the rare Hi Desert Joshua Tree plant is a big part of the work of this European educated artist.

Her original works are reverse glass paintings done with vibrant, bright sparkling different kinds of materials to capture the amazing spirits which surround the beautiful area where the paintings originate. This technique is very unusual and unique but at the same time also very old and started in the middle ages. In Europe reverse glass painting was a popular folk art and later on members of the German Group of painters, "Blaue Reiter" ( Blue Riders ) used this technique in their works. KarMar's reverse paintings on glass achieve a special luminosity and the reverse painting process makes the paintings dynamic, mysterious and fascinating, just as the motives are that she paints.

KarMar, born and educated in Austria is now based in Joshua Tree, California, which is recently getting attention as the "New Bohemia". Educated as a live theater actress she worked in various Austrian theaters to finance her art studies of Visual Arts which she completed with her Masters degree in fine arts.

Presently KarMar's work is available at her web site http://www.joshuARTree.com.
