Master jewelry artist offers public lecture, workshop
TEMPE, Ariz. - Internationally-known jewelry designer Nancy Worden will
be offering a free public lecture followed by a one-day workshop in
October.
Worden's free lecture will be at 7 p.m. on Oct. 14 in the Edna Vihel
Center for the Arts, 3340 S. Rural Road. The workshop is from 9:15 a.m.
to 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 15 in the Edna Vihel Center and will focus on the
topic of cold fusion techniques. The workshop fee is $20.
Workshop participants may pre-register at the Edna Vihel Center; the
workshop is limited to 15 participants.
Worden's work is in multiple public and private collections and in
numerous publications. She is represented by the William Traver Gallery
in Seattle. Both of Worden's events are supported by funding from the
Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG), the organization for
Jewelers, Designers and Metalsmiths.
