East Valley Military Support Group Seeks Donations for Christmas Drive
The East Valley Military Support Group is a non profit group that mails 100 boxes per month to US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are seeking donatations now for their Christmas drive.
The Christmas drive is starting now so that the men and women can have a good Christmas despite the fact that they are in a war zone and away from their loved ones.
Your donations help troops pass some of their free time and keep their mind off war. Items they need are:
Footballs
Basketballs
Baseballs
Hackisacks
DVD and CD's
Dark Socks
Underwear
Flip flops
Puzzles
Batteries (most needed are aaa, aa, c and d)
Board games
Card games
The East Valley Military Support Group also accepts financial donations as the costs to mail boxes are $25-30 each.
Boxes will also be mailed to the hospitals who have requested our help: Germany, Baghdad and San Antonio, Texas.
