Free Summer Concert Series Kicks Off This Saturday
Steele Indian School Park is the place to be for great music this summer. The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department is once again hosting the Free Summer Concert Series and at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, the AZZ IZZ Band will entertain with music ranging from reggae to jazz.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic basket and enjoy an evening of family entertainment. Food and beverages can be purchased at the park. The free concerts will be held at the park's outdoor amphitheater located at Third Street and Indian School Road.
The 2005 Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, Inc. and the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture. For additional information call 602-495-0739.
