An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin

Lily Tomlin is one of America's foremost comedians, with an
extraordinary entertainment
career that has brought her acclaim on Broadway, in film and on
television. Whether it's Murphy Brown's boss, The West Wing's
president's secretary or the voice of Ms. Frizzle in the
animated series The Magic School Bus, she plays them with her
usual wit and panache. An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin is a
journey through the characters she created
in The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe
along with other surprises.

Join us for the performance and receive premium seating,
followed by a special dessert and champagne reception with Ms.
Tomlin. $150 per person includes theater ticket and reception.
Proceeds from this special event benefit arts and education
programs at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.
Night Run/Walk for the Arts 2005
May 7, Saturday @ 6 p.m.
Registration Prices:
$18 before April 30
$20 from May 1 through May 7
$25 day of race
The 21st annual Night Run for the Arts will take place on
Saturday, May 7. All proceeds of the race will benefit the
Scottsdale Center for the Arts and the Scottsdale Museum of
Contemporary Art. The Night Run for the Arts includes a 1 mile
Fun Run/Walk, an 8K race, and a 3 mile Family Fitness Walk.
There will also be an Art Stroll, a 45-minute docent-led tour of
the sculptures located at Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza. All
activities will begin and end in the Scottsdale Center for the
Arts Amphitheater, located at 75th and Main Streets.

The Bobs and The Flying Karamazov Brothers
May 8, Sunday @ 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Virginia G. Piper Theater
Place the world's four most amazing jugglers onstage. Add the
world's most original vocal quartet. So begins the recipe for
Sheesh! K-Bobs! The Bobs and The Flying Karamazov Brothers meld
their individual physical feats of fancy into a feast of
whimsical delights - a Vaudeville, musical barbecue if you will.
The groups will perform both separately and en masse in this
special smorgasbord of music, dance, and possible swordplay.

8-year-old Chopin, the Flight of the Bumblebee, the Diary of a
Fly, Scott Joplin rags, Gershwin show tunes and much more!
An entertaining and enriching program for the whole family!
