Iron Girl Raises Funds For American Heart Association With 5K Run/Walk Event
On November 13, Iron Girl will hold a 5K women’s only run/walk event at Tempe Town Lake. Event organizers will offer unique give-away items, such as Iron Girl performance wicking shirts sized just for women. Additionally, a special Mother/Daughter category will provide those young and old the opportunity to spend quality time together while exercising. Baby joggers are also welcome to encourage new Moms to participate.

Join the Iron Girl movement as we kick off with an event right here in Tempe! On November 13, 2004, women from throughout the area will gather at beautiful Tempe Town Lake for a day filled with fun, friends and fitness.
The Iron Girl 5K will feature a flat, scenic course that is ideal for both runners and walkers. This women’s-only event caters to the Iron Girl in all of us! From race shirts sized just for women, to personalized bibs and finisher awards, this event is a “must-do” for both beginners and veterans.
