Activist/Artist Glen E. Friedman, Unveils ''Liberty Street Protest'' at Ground Zero; New Visual Installation Overlooking The Ground Zero/World Trade Center Reconstruction Site
A collaboration with entrepreneur and music mogul Russell Simmons, other residents of the Liberty Street building in which Simmons had resided prior to September 11, 2001 and graphic artists Chris Habib and Shepard Fairey, Liberty Street Protest is a series of large scale graphics displayed in the massive windows of a building on the south side of the Ground Zero/World Trade Center reconstruction site.
Comprised of 27 green, white and blue graphic panels, the installation can be viewed from anywhere around the World Trade Center starting today.
